AffordWhere helps people considering a move to Europe understand what their salary really means. We combine official tax data, real neighborhood rent prices, and local cost of living information to show you a complete picture of life in a new city.

Why We Built This

Moving abroad is exciting but financially confusing. The same salary can mean very different lifestyles depending on the city - taxes, rent, and cost of living vary wildly across Europe. We built AffordWhere because existing tools either:

• Only show city-wide averages (not actual neighborhoods)
• Ignore taxes (which can take 30-50% of gross salary)
• Don't account for different living situations (solo vs. family)
• Are outdated or use unreliable data

We wanted to answer the real question: "Can I actually afford to live there?"
